Estonian wildlife photographer Sven Zatsek is renowned for his ability to capture hidden moments in nature that the average person often fails to notice. Late spring offers photographers extraordinarily rich material – blooming flowers, awakening animals and changing light conditions create the ideal backdrop for creating a masterpiece.

A Kohvi+ channel correspondent visited Zatsek and received a personal lesson from him on nature photography tips and secrets. The photographer explained what to pay attention to so that ordinary pictures transform into true works of art – from finding the right light to practising patience while waiting for animals.

According to Zatsek, the biggest challenge in nature photography is capturing the moment when all elements are perfectly aligned. This requires both technical skill and a deep understanding of nature. The photographer emphasises that the best pictures often emerge when the photographer blends into the natural environment and does not disturb the animals' natural behaviour.
