Võru city council elects Urmas Tali as new mayor

The Võru city council held an extraordinary session on Monday, electing Centre Party member Urmas Tali as the new mayor of Võru. The council also confirmed the new composition of the city government.

The Võru city council convened in an extraordinary session on Monday, voting to elect Urmas Tali as the new mayor of the southern Estonian town of Võru. Tali is a member of the Centre Party (Keskerakond).

Alongside the mayoral election, the council also approved and confirmed the new composition of the city government, completing the leadership transition in Võru.
