Tallinn Central Market Detailed Plan Finally Approved
Tallinn City Government is adopting the Central Market detailed plan, the processing of which began in 2015. The long-awaited plan sets out the future development of the market area and its surroundings.
EestiTallinn City Government approved the Central Market detailed plan today, which has been developed over nearly a decade—the process was launched back in 2015.
The Central Market is one of Tallinn's most important commercial and public gathering spaces in the city centre, and its future development has been on the agenda of urban planners for a long time. The years-long planning process involved multiple coordination rounds, public discussions, and engagement with various stakeholders.
