Sillamäe waste collection fee nearly doubles in 2026

Sillamäe city government decided to raise the mixed household waste collection fee from 1 July 2026. The current price of 10.40 euros per cubic metre will increase to 19.47 euros.

Sillamäe residents face a significant increase in waste collection fees — starting 1 July 2026, the city will introduce a new mixed household waste collection rate.

According to the city government's decision, the organized waste collection fee will rise from the current 10.40 euros to 19.47 euros per cubic metre (excluding VAT). This represents an increase of nearly double compared with the current level.

The new rate comes into effect in early July 2026, giving residents and businesses just over a year to prepare for the change.
