Sabalenka defeats Kasatkina at French Open, advances to round of 16

Tennis world number one Arina Sabalenka defeated Daria Kasatkina 6:0, 7:5 at the French Open and advanced to the round of 16. Amanda Anisimova also exited the tournament.

At the French Open, women's world number one Arina Sabalenka continued her commanding performance, defeating Daria Kasatkina (WTA 53) 6:0, 7:5 in the third round. With the victory, Sabalenka secured her place in the round of 16.

The first set was dominated entirely by Sabalenka – Kasatkina failed to win a single game. The second set proved more competitive, but Sabalenka ultimately managed to secure a decisive victory.

Amanda Anisimova has also ended her tournament participation, packing her bags and departing Paris.
