Puppy found tied under porch in Jõgeva, awaits new home at shelter

A puppy was found tied under a porch on Suislepa Street in Jõgeva after being left by someone unknown. The animal, named Riis, is now at the Tartu animal shelter and is waiting for a new family.

A puppy was discovered tied under a porch on Suislepa Street in Jõgeva the week before last. An unknown person had tied the animal there and left it alone, causing the puppy's cries to eventually reach a resident's ears.

The resident found the whimpering dog and secured help for it. The puppy was rescued from its difficult situation and taken safely into care.

Now, the dog named Riis is waiting for a loving home and family members at the Tartu animal shelter. The shelter invites interested parties to meet the animal and consider adopting it.
