Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate to leave on free transfer

Liverpool are set to lose defender Ibrahima Konate on a free transfer when his contract at Anfield runs out in June.

The French centre-back, who joined Liverpool from RB Leipzig in 2021, will be free to negotiate with clubs outside of England during the January transfer window under the Bosman ruling. No transfer fee will be required to secure his services.
