Karis meets Svyrydenko in Kadriorg: Ukraine is an inseparable part of Europe

President Alar Karis met on Tuesday in Kadriorg with Ukrainian Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko. Karis emphasised that both Ukraine and the European Union must take concrete steps towards Ukraine's full membership.

President Alar Karis received Ukrainian Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko on Tuesday at Kadriorg Palace. The meeting focused on Ukraine's future as an EU member state and the responsibility of both sides in achieving this goal.

Karis emphasised that Ukraine belongs inseparably to Europe and that the path to EU membership requires real and credible steps from both Kyiv and Brussels. The President made clear that Estonia supports Ukraine's integration into Euro-Atlantic structures with determination.

Yuliia Svyrydenko is Ukraine's Deputy Prime Minister and Acting Prime Minister, currently performing the duties of prime minister. Her visit to Tallinn reflects Ukraine's desire to strengthen relations with the Baltic states, which have been among Kyiv's strongest supporters both diplomatically and militarily.
