Is AI hysteria affecting tech leaders more than others?

The concept of AI psychosis is understood primarily as a situation where leaders begin to see artificial intelligence as a solution to all problems, losing their ability to assess critically. Podcast Equity points out that the phenomenon is especially prevalent among high-level technology executives who are themselves involved daily in developing or implementing artificial intelligence.

During the discussion, the question was raised of whether such a tendency is dangerous – in terms of investment decisions, business strategies, and the shaping of broader public discourse. Critics argue that excessive optimism can lead to unrealistic promises and ultimately disappoint and waste resources. At the same time, there are also advocates who believe that a certain amount of enthusiasm is necessary to advance innovation.
