Heimar Lenk: Edgar Savisaar deserves a monument like all other great figures

Lenk concludes that Savisaar's birthday is an apt moment to begin broader public discussions about how we assess our political leaders – not just those we love, but also those we have feared or resented. Acknowledging a legacy does not mean endorsing everything about it, but honesty about history demands integrity.
