Estonian publisher Päikese Kirjastus has brought out a new translation of French author Jean-Baptiste Andrea's novel 'Devils and Saints' ('Kuradid ja pühakud'), making it available to Estonian readers for the first time. The book was translated from French by Reti Maria Vahtrik.

Jean-Baptiste Andrea is one of France's most celebrated contemporary authors, best known as the recipient of the prestigious Goncourt Prize — France's highest literary honour. 'Devils and Saints' marks the third novel by Andrea to appear in the Estonian language, continuing a growing interest in his work among local readers.

The release reflects Päikese Kirjastus's ongoing commitment to bringing award-winning international literature to Estonian audiences, expanding access to some of the most acclaimed voices in contemporary European fiction.
