Estonian Rally2 drivers' mid-season review: Jürgenson, Virves, Vaher and Enok
Four Estonian young rally drivers – Romet Jürgenson, Robert Virves, Jaspar Vaher and Patrick Enok – have achieved significant results in Rally2 cars during the first half of the year both in the FIA World Rally Championship and Finnish championship events. Some are living their dreams, while others are looking for more.
SportEstonia's young rally talents have demonstrated a high level during the first half of 2025, both in the international FIA World Rally Championship and Nordic competitions, all racing Rally2-class cars. The results of four men – Romet Jürgenson, Robert Virves, Jaspar Vaher and Patrick Enok – have drawn widespread attention both at home and abroad.
Two Estonians' paths in the World Championship
In the World Championship, Estonia is represented by Romet Jürgenson and Robert Virves, both of whom have managed to gain experience competing against the toughest opposition. The international rally World Championship is a harsh school where young drivers must develop rapidly to keep pace.
Toyota young talent and Finnish champion
Jaspar Vaher is part of the Toyota young driver programme, which gives him access to top-level technical resources and prepares him for a potential WRC career. Patrick Enok, in turn, is the reigning Finnish SM2-class championship champion, which demonstrates his high level on the Scandinavian rally scene.
All four drivers represent the future of Estonian rally sport, and their mid-season results show that homegrown talent can make a mark on the international stage as well. Expectations for the second half of the year are high.
