Estonian public figure Kerdo Mölder is recovering after a successful medical procedure on May 26, following a second stroke that left him in intensive care. Doctors removed a blood clot from a brain region and placed a stent in his carotid artery to restore proper blood flow.

Mölder confirmed the operation went well, saying shortly after the procedure: «I'm feeling pretty knocked out right now, but the op went well!» The surgery came after what he described as a difficult and tense period.

The procedure involved two key steps: extracting the clot that had formed in a cerebral blood vessel and installing a long metallic framework — commonly known as a stent — inside the carotid artery to keep it open and prevent future blockages.

After spending time in the intensive care unit, Mölder is now able to breathe a little easier following the successful outcome. Friends and followers have been following his condition closely since news of the second stroke emerged last week.
