Lutter pointed out that writing glass markers doesn't have to be merely a practical activity — it can actually be transformed into a fun social game that provides guests with a memorable experience.

At the same time, the designer warned against a common mistake: strings or wire should not be tied around glasses. Such a solution, in Lutter's view, can cause discomfort and is neither aesthetically nor practically suitable for a party table.
