Estonian biathlete Jakob Kuldbin does not feel additional pressure ahead of the home World Championship. According to him, last season gave him an excellent foundation on which he plans to build further.

Kuldbin's last season was uneven: at the World Cup opening stage in Östersund, he finished 12th in the individual race, and these points turned out to be the only ones for the entire season in the overall World Cup standings. However, at the junior World Championship, the athlete performed brilliantly — he returned home with two medals.

"Last season I laid a good foundation, now I can build on its basis," Kuldbin noted. Preparing for the upcoming home World Championship, the biathlete is focusing on two key aspects: increasing training volume and improving prone shooting.

A home World Championship is a special test for any athlete: the support of the stands and familiar conditions can both inspire and create additional pressure. However, Kuldbin, judging by everything, is pragmatic and focused primarily on technical and physical preparation.
