Bezzecchi wins MotoGP Italian round at home, Ducati left without victory

Marco Bezzecchi (Aprilia) won the seventh round of the MotoGP season on his home circuit in Italy, ahead of teammate Jorge Martín and fellow Italian Francesco Bagnaia. Ducati failed to take victory, though Bagnaia finished third.

Motorcycling world champion Marco Bezzecchi claimed victory in the seventh round of the MotoGP season on his home circuit in Italy, finishing first in front of a large crowd on the Italian track.

Bezzecchi crossed the finish line 3.559 seconds ahead of teammate Spanish rider Jorge Martín, who had to settle for second place. The podium was completed by fellow Italian Francesco Bagnaia on his Ducati in third, finishing 5.098 seconds behind the winner.

Ducati's team failed to claim the top spot this time, although Bagnaia managed to secure third place. Bezzecchi's victory held special emotional significance thanks to the support of his home crowd.
