Apartment balcony fire in Tartu's Raatuse Street extinguished quickly

A fire broke out on Monday evening at approximately 8:20 PM on the balcony of an apartment building at the end of Raatuse Street in Tartu. Flames shooting above the roofline were visible from a considerable distance, creating the impression that a large portion of the building had been engulfed.

Despite the dramatic appearance of the blaze, emergency crews responded swiftly and managed to extinguish the fire before it could spread further into the structure. The visible flames above the roofline, while alarming to onlookers, turned out to be misleading as to the actual scale of the incident.
