Apartment balcony fire in Tartu's Raatuse Street extinguished quickly

Flames shooting above the roofline were visible from a considerable distance, creating the impression that a large portion of the building had been engulfed.
Despite the dramatic appearance of the blaze, emergency crews responded swiftly and managed to extinguish the fire before it could spread further into the structure. The visible flames above the roofline, while alarming to onlookers, turned out to be misleading as to the actual scale of the incident.
The fire was contained to the balcony area where it originated, and crews prevented it from causing more extensive damage to the building. No information has been released regarding any injuries or the cause of the fire.
